Crispin's Guilt

Although I do kind of wish that you coulda run round Crispin's head in the game, I appreciate how damn difficult it must have been to make the minds available so strikingly different from each other, and give every character their own issues and stories. That's half the reason Psychonauts rocks so much. In the RPG I do, I gave Crispin a weird fear of moths, a history of delusional parasitosis attacks, and this memory to explain both.

I did want to have a go at one of Crispin's memory vaults, though. I don't generally do sad stuff, but there is actually a lot of dark stuff in the game, so. I'm not saying Crispin's a bastard just because he thinks he killed his sister, or even that's the one reason he went crazy, to me that's as dim as saying, to misquote Jhonen V, 'Nny kills like the damned cuz he was pantsed at skool.' But, in the thinkings out I did while drawing this, I made up about Emily because I thought there should be some kind of Thing he feels bad about, although he's wrapped it up so tightly that he never thinks about it day-to-day. Something that needs exorcising. Crispin's a conniving little weasel because that's who he is, but all this is is the idea that this happening in the autumn when he was twelve that started him off down that path.

I used the frames and mottling from the game files, and I had to have a brain-hurtingly good look at the way the other titles were written to make this new one up. I dislike panel 5, because his head is too big, and my favorite has got to be 8.
